Our House
In 2010 we bought this small house in Älvängen 35km north of Göteborg. The previous owner was an old sailor named Sven. He had many interesting stories to tell from his years on the oceans.
Our plan was to add one floor on top of the old house and this work was started in beginning of 2011.
The firs step was to remove the house exterior.
Second we needed a Scaffold to be able to put the second floor in place.
Roof was removed and reinforcements was put in place.
New floor construction was put on to the old roof constrution.
New walls and new roof was build up.
And 6 months later we could move in to the second floor.
The old house interior was rebuilt between 2011 - 2015.
New kitchen was built 2012
A roof terrace was added to the house during 2014.
And finally a new bathroom was installed 2015.

In 2018 we decided to sell the house due to our adventure in China.
This is the last picture taken of us at our house, just before we went back to Shanghai in late july 2018.
