We visited Malaysian part of Borneo in February 2018. After a couple of relaxing days in Kota Kinabalu we traveld by flight to Sandakan, in the east to explore the wildlife of the rain forrest.

There where many amazing moments on this journey, to mention a few, our boat trips in Kinabatang wetlands where we meet with a wild Orangutan male building his nest together with Crocodiles and lizards sunbathing on the muddy river bank.

But also when the elephants finally showed up in the morning to drink from the river.

Another fantastic moment was a wild orangutan visited the Danum valley rain forrest lodge to find some frech vegetation to eat.

And last but not least, the wonderful days we had at Gaya Island as an end of this vacation.
